En un mundo donde los seres humanos y youkai (monstruos o demonios) viven juntos en paz, se ha decidido por los humanos para cambiar el calendario para que se centra en el día. Debido a esto los youkai están molestos, y otros están furiosos, se decidió que representantes de ambos lados del youkai y humanos trabajaran juntos y mantendrán la paz. Zakuro es una chica youkai (monstruos o demonios) que no pueden soportar el fanatismo anti-youkai. Ella es también uno de los youkai asignado como representante. En la reunión con el lado humano, son formados los equipos por pareja, y al principio ella está muy contenta con el chico que le fue asignado, porque parece ser amable, del tipo principesco. Sin embargo, resulta que él está secretamente aterrada de los youkai, e incluso los llama “MONSTRUOS” y, naturalmente, Zakuro se enoja con él.
